Frank GilckenFrank Gilcken is one of the most respected hard-rock guitarists in the business. Gilcken has played on uncounted hit albums as a studio guitarist in both the Philadelphia and Los Angeles music scene. Gilcken’s band Bang released four albums for Capitol Records and the group under Frank’s lead appeared on stage in concert with Rod Stewart, Deep Purple, Three Dog Night, Alice Cooper, Steppenwolf, Black Sabbath, the Guess Who and Bob Segar. Gilcken as a lead guitarist, song writer and vocalist then spent several years with the Bell recording group Texas touring the States. After retiring from active touring, Gilcken embarked upon a career as a valued and sought after studio musician in the Los Angeles area. Gilcken did major work for producers, Kim Fowler, Phil Seamore and Richie Podlar ( Steppenwolf, Three Dog Night and others). Gilcken is now residing in Philadelphia and still is doing sessions for many of the top music producers up and down the East Coast. Frank’s rapport with the musicians and his expert hard rock style makes him the perfect choice for being the chief liaison between the MME company and the numerous musicians that will have to be auditioned and rehearsed for the new production.
