Jamie Humphries - GuitarJamie is a London based session guitarist, who has tour extensively across North, South and Central America and Canada for the past two years with The Australian Pink Floyd Show. He also performs on the West End Queen musical, We Will Rock You. Jamie has had Top 20 chart success in the UK as a session guitarist performing on the Fat Boy Slim style cross over single “Rocket” by Braund Reynolds. He has also performed on music for The World Cup, The Winter Olympics, plus many other TV shows for Sky, BBC and ITV. Jamie is currently working with renowned producer Magnus Fiennes on a new BBC music cartoon “Freefonix”, which includes the voices of The Darkness front man Justin Hawkins and actor Joseph Fiennes. Jamie has transcribed for many major guitar magazines including Guitar Techniques, Guitarist, Total Guitar and Guitar World. He has also had three books/CD’s published by Sanctuary and has written over 20 transcription books for Cherry Lane and Music Sales. He also has over 40 instructional DVD’s released through Lick Library and Hal Leonard, and also hosts his own guitar instructional TV show on “Rock TV.” He has performed guitar clinics for Ernie Ball Musicman in the UK, USA and Japan, and lectures guitar at The Academy of Contemporary Music in the UK. www.jamiehumphries.com
