Phil Hilborne - GuitarAn extraordinary British guitar player, Phil is a number one studio and live call player in London. During the past 6 years he has regularly performed in the massive hit Queen musical ‘We Will Rock You’ at London’s Dominion theatre in the West End (over 600 shows). He has also toured extensively with his own band and for nearly 20 years with Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain. In the studio and live, Phil has done work for TV shows aired on the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV and has worked with many internationally known artist’s such as Narada Michael Walden, Keith Emerson, John Entwhistle, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Joe Pass, Uli Jon Roth, Frank Gambale, Vinnie Moore, Glenn Hughes, Martin Taylor, Brian May, Bernie Marsden, Mel Galley, Bruce Dickinson, Mo Foster, members of Motorhead , Iron Maiden and others. He has also played on countless albums and tracks and has been on a UK chart hit single with Roger Daltry and members of Iron Maiden. Phil was also the first person in the uk to write regular Rock instructional columns in ‘Guitarist’ magazine and also co-founded ‘Guitar Techniques’ magazine and has had articles published in ‘Guitar World’, ‘Total Guitar’, Guitar (France) and ‘Guitarista’ (Spain). He has demonstrated equipment both in the UK and Europe for numerous companies such as Paul Reed Smith, Marshall, Ampeg, Gibson. Sonor, Premier, Crate, Washburn etc. He was curriculum director for the Brighton Institute Of Modern Music and has performed guitar master class clinics all over the UK and Europe.
