Presented by AEG Live, The Gaither Homecoming Tour 2010 kicks off on Thursday, September 9 in Cedar Park (Austin) Texas, followed by cities coast-to-coast. The tour comes on the heels of the international release of a brand new studio recording by the Grammy-winning Gaither Vocal Band entitled GREATLY BLESSED.
For nearly half a century, multiple Grammy and Dove award winner Bill Gaither has been a musical trailblazer. His reputation as a performer, songwriter, and mentor for newly-discovered artists is known world-wide. Despite the music industry’s current state of flux, Gaither’s beloved series of Homecoming CDs and DVDs continue to top the charts and attract an ever-increasing audience. Whether you are a brand new fan or a longtime lover of feel-good Gospel music, don’t miss this incredible concert experience.

The roster of Homecoming performers hitting the stage with Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band includes The Isaacs, The Martins, Karen Peck & New River, Mark Lowry, David Phelps, Michael English, Lynda Randle, Buddy Greene, Charlotte Ritchie, Gene McDonald and Kevin Williams. Jason Crabb, The Collingsworth Family, Jeff Taylor, Jeff & Sheri Easter and Russ Taff also appear on select dates. Please check your local venue for artists performing in your city. NASHVILLE, TN – There’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than being surrounded by family and friends. This season, Gospel legend Bill Gaither and AEG Live invite you to join them for the GAITHER HOMECOMING CHRISTMAS TOUR 2010. Throughout December, the all-star Gaither Vocal Band, along with a flurry of special guest Homecoming performers, will present a cavalcade of beloved Christmas music and heartwarming hits in celebration of the most wonderful time of the year!
Last year, legendary founder Bill Gaither reunited with renowned former Gaither Vocal Band members Michael English, Mark Lowry, David Phelps and Wes Hampton in an all-star tribute to the group’s rich musical legacy, spanning more than a quarter century. The legacy continues in December as the Gaither Vocal Band is joined by an incredible line-up of special guest Homecoming performers for a sensational Christmas event that’s not to be missed.
“Music has a way of uniting people,” says Bill Gaither. “Over the last year and a half, we’ve felt the power and inspiration that come with reunion. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the magic of the season than by continuing that feeling with this year’s Homecoming Christmas Tour.”
